Oriental wisdom:

In the eastern cultures we find an ancient cure against hair loss. It is interesting that the ancient chinese people already knew that the blood circulation and the health of your hair were strictly related. This technique is composed of two different actions:

Sarvang Aasan (Nail buffing Yoga Posture): this is one of the most important postures in yoga. It provides a good supply of blood to the skull. It energizes hair roots and helps the circulation of blood in our head. It should be done for about 5-10 minutes a day.

Nail buffing: it develops energy in the body. It provides adequate energy to hair roots.
It is done by rubbing nails of both hands simultaneously. It should be done for 5 minutes,
2-3 times a day. This technique is said to cure hair-loss.

A friend from Nepal once told me that a woman doing the above exercise, not only stopped her hair loss, but even grew moustaches, so it´s not recommended for women!!
I personally practiced the “nail buffing” some years ago for several weeks, without big results. Maybe it works better with others, but what I want to underline is that in the eastern culture and wisdom, we find the theory of reactivating the blood circulation in order to stop hair loss validated, and it seems to me an important point, since the East is the keeper of many instances of wisdom and knowledge and we have still a lot to learn from them.
Scientists have today confirmed that blood circulation and hair loss are related. For over 5000 years chinese herbalists have stated that, as long as there is good supply of blood to the scalp, hair loss can be prevented.
